Our promise

There is a lot of questions about opensource movement motivations and about ethical issues around, and we want to make clear a few of that questions.

• Pandora FMS is open source / free software, licenced under GPL2 and always will be open.
• Some new features (from 2.0) are closed source, but there is no need pay to get access to latest code or to get better documentation. Pandora FMS is and will be OPEN for everyone. Closed source are only for specific enterprise-grade features.
• Pandora FMS main development team makes money with Pandora FMS, providing services, support, custom integration and development (that are published as part of Project). This team is integrated in Artica ST, a spanish IT company.
• Pandora FMS uses public resources for all it's development, like Sourceforge, or Openideas hosting. All are public resources opened for other Opensource projects.
• Pandora FMS project management is lead by Sancho Lerena (slerena@artica.es), and there is a lot of people working on project, some at Artica, and other without relationship with Artica.
